Emergency Electrical
PNW electrical emergencies cluster around winter storms (downed lines, surge damage, blower outages) and old-wiring failures (knob-and-tube short circuits, overloaded panels). We answer the phone with a live person, give you a realistic ETA, and quote on-site so you are not committed before diagnosis.

FAQ
Emergency Electrical questions
- Q.01When should I call an electrician vs the power company?
- If the problem is from the service drop (the line from the pole to your home) outward to the grid, call the utility — it's their wire. If the problem is from the meter inward to your panel or outlets, that's us. When in doubt, call us first and we'll route correctly.
- Q.02What should I do while waiting?
- If you smell burning or see sparking, kill the main breaker at the panel. If a single outlet is the problem, find the breaker that controls it and trip it off. Keep curious hands and pets away from the affected area. We'll guide you through it on the call.
- Q.03Can you actually guarantee same-day response?
- Not always. During winter storms every PNW electrician is fully booked. We give you a realistic ETA when you call, and we say so plainly if we cannot make it — we won't string you along.
